Rabbi Mamane was ordained at Lander College for Men - Beit Midrash L'Talmud in 2016 and holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Master's degree in Judaic Studies, and Master's degree in Social Work, all from Touro College. Additionally, he currently works as a therapist at Mount Sinai Hospital and has previously worked as a therapist in various inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. He understands the necessary components of a healthy synagogue life, and the deeply personal nature of the work of the professionals, volunteers, and congregants who commit themselves to the sacred task of building and sustaining a welcoming Jewish community. In all of his work, Rabbi Mamane is guided by deep Torah knowledge, rabbinic teachings, a drive for social justice and civic engagement, and remarkable empathy. He brings an adventurous spirit which has sustained him since his days at Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh and Lander College - Beit Midrash L'Talmud.
