Join CMDM for an inspiring evening with special guest speaker Bianca Benisti, from the popular Instagram account Rita Inspired. After the beautiful and meaningful holiday of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, come together for an evening filled with laughter, inspiration, connection, and spiritual reflection as we continue carrying the feeling of the holiday into the year ahead. The topic of the class is: The Strength You Never Chose—but Somehow Needed How the chapters you never would have chosen can become the very place your light is built. Some of life’s most difficult chapters ask us to develop a strength we never wanted to need. This class explores how the experiences we would never have chosen can build an inner muscle, deepen our relationship with Hashem, and reveal a light within us that may never have emerged any other way. Schedule 7:00 PM — Doors Open, Dinner & Arrival 7:30 PM — Learning Begins 8:45 PM — Closing Session About the Program The Downtown Beth Midrash brings together students, young professionals, rabbis, and Jewish organizations from across the city for one powerful evening of Torah learning every week. Each participating organization leads its own ḥabura or ḥabruta-based learning group, while everyone gathers under one roof for dinner, serious Torah engagement, and a shared closing session. Different communities. Different styles of learning. One united Beth Midrash. The initial program is running from 10/8 to 11/12 for six-week every Thursday evenings. Registration is limited and includes dinner and participation in one of the learning groups.
