RABBI MIMONE MAMANE
Rabbi Mamane was ordained at Lander College for Men in 2016 and received his BA in psychology, MA in Judaic Studies, and MA in Social Work from Touro College. He is currently completing his internship as a social worker at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where he provides counseling to patients suffering from cancer and related emotional issues. Previously, Rabbi Mamane interned at various synagogues in Montreal and New York. He understands the necessary components of a healthy synagogue life, and the deeply personal nature of the work of the professionals, volunteers, and congregants who commit themselves to the sacred task of building, sustaining, and being part of a welcoming and inclusive Jewish community. In all of his work, Rabbi Mamane is guided by deep Torah knowledge, rabbinic teachings, a passion for Israel, a drive for social justice and civic engagement, and remarkable empathy. He brings an adventurous spirit which has sustained him since his days at Netiv Aryeh and Landers College.
